Without a Internet connection, Snow Player is just probably a normal media player same as others with essential features like Tag editor, playlist, equalizer… However, it will be absolutely a different player coming with features that would be included in the next version of other rivals once connected to the network.
It can automatically search for lyric using Google, find information about the artist using Wikipedia and upload the current video to YouTube… within its mini browser. You just do these functions perfectly in case the tag of media file is correct. But you can do this easily with the including tag editor.
However, there is a little disadvantage that you may come across is the lack of equalizer presets that you could find simply in Winamp or AIMP2. Of course it’s not a big issue if you’re a professional music listener and can get along with slidebars.
