The speed of Internet is continuously increasing everyday and we can download an entire disk image, usually in ISO format, onto our computer with ease. The rest is probably to burn it onto a CD or to use a virtual CD to map that file.
In most cases, you probably prefer the second option and there are many applications out there allow you to create a virtual CD. But Virtual CDRom is such a tiny and silent utility I think you will love it in case ISO is the only format you are working with.
Actually, it just helps you to install a virtual CD driver into the system (you may see a file VCdRom.sys in the downloaded folder). However, this is the fastest method to do as well as it consumes the least computer resource.
