Most email providers have a size limit for attached files sent and received. If you have a digital camera that takes large photos, you are often limited to attaching 3-4 photos per email. Even more, if you want to share a piece of software with a friend, email’s attachment limitations can prohibit you from sending even a small file.
Pando is a program that seeks to end these limitations by going around the problem. You simply upload your file through Pando, then Pando sends your friends a link to download the file via email, Twitter, your favorite instant messenger or through a Web link. The file stays active on Pando’s servers for 7 days and is then deleted. The program is easy to use, but does have its drawbacks.
