Adobe AIR has been emerging as a promising framework for developers because applications can be developed rapidly and can be run under any OS just like Java. At first, I only see applications for social media sites such as Tweetdeck, Twirl, Seesmics…, but recently there are also more applications written for other areas.
Snipper is one of AIR applications recently join the competition of image capturers. Amazingly it can capture what’s on your screen as fast and effectively as a utility written by a native programming language on Windows such as C#.
You can capture the screenshot, then save it into Clipboard or save it in a PNG or JPEG file. You can also paste it onto applications such as Word, Photoshop, Paint same as other captures.
